Chicago police officers responded about 12:25 a.m. Friday, November 25, 2016 to a call of "shots fired" near the intersection of Harrison Street and Central Park Avenue in the Homan Park neighborhood.
Police report a shooter was shot and killed when he was seen standing over a man down on the ground and shooting into the man on the ground.

Report of two adults trapped in the vehicle by 11:27 a.m. E1601 assigned ground contact with medical helicopter.

E3's crew extended a line into the apartment to extinguish hot spots by about 6:25 a.m.
Mount Prospect E12 firefighters checking for extension the second floor by 6:28 a.m.
E12 crew reports minor smoke on the second floor..
Firefighters searching for extension on the first floor reported no extension.
