Shots Fired at Police/Police Officer Hit
43rd St and Ashland Avenue Chicago, IL
Police officers transported a female police officer with a gunshot wound to Mercy Hospital in a squad car.
The female officer was then transferred, conscious and alert, to Stroger Hospital.
Her injuries initially do not appear to be life-threatening.
One person in custody.
