Report of a natural gas explosion and fire with entrapment involving two townhouses while Nicor workers were repairing a gas leak.

One Nicor worker seriously injured, and one Nicor worker with apparent minor injuries.

Two townhouse units destroyed.

Gas leak continued late Tuesday.

A similar explosion occurred -- possibly at the same building lot -- in 1999.
