Report of multiple injuries (battery victims/stabbings) at Cook County Jail. Injuries are not believed to be life threatening. The number of injured was not officially confirmed as of 9:45 p.m. By 10:45 officials reported eight inmates were involved in a fight and several were stabbed in Division 9 (maximum security) -- two interconnected 3-story buildings. A corrections officer was injured by a food tray that was thrown through the air.
EMS Plan 1 by 8:43 p.m. on orders of EMS Field Chief 4-5-7.
One officer being transported Code Yellow with 7 to 13? other victims reported injured.
Patients transported to St Anthony's Hospital.

Crews pulling dry wall by 4:13 p.m. Fire was possibly caused by welding work during construction.
Engine crew reports initial fire is knocked from the outside by 4:18 p.m.
Quint 83 crew on the roof, and roof line established.
Opening a wall and hitting fire with a pump can at 4:20 p.m.
BC8 requests an additional ambulance and engine at 4:22 p.m.
BC8 reports two lines off and main to the roof at 4:48 p.m.

BC17 reports A 2-1/2-story ordinary church, 70x70.

BC17 reports it looks like this was a building being prepared for demolition. Vacant church building had a fence around it. Building next to it was untouched.
