MABAS Division 12 Box Alarm on Box #233 for a structure fire (HOUSE FIRE).
Initial call about 7:15 am. Crew on arrival report a 2-story home well-involved with flames with cars on the driveway.
Firefighters in defensive mode after attempting initial search.
One firefighter suffered a burn injury on his neck.
Command reports main body of fire knocked, firefighters return to interior attack and secondary search underway by 7:43 am.
ComEd on scene by 7:52 am.
Command reports primary search first and second floor negative, and secondary search negative by 7:52 am.
Command reports fire is out, Nicor on scene, extensive overhaul, searches not yet complete by 8:13 am.
Windsor Command reports extensive overhaul, building department on scene, companies working extensive overhaul, utilities secured by 8:26 am.
Command reports final searches are complete and negative by 8:52 am.

Water on the fire by 2:04 pm
Securing the EMS Plan 1 at 2:17 pm on orders of 2-1-23.
Returning the helicopter and striking out the Still and Box on orders of 2-2-2.
Secondary search complete and negative, and doing final washdown by 2:24 pm.
Small fire in an apartment undergoing renovation.
