MABAS Division 21 Box Alarm on Box # for a brush fire with fireworks "going off" at the site of Bridgeview's official public fireworks display at Bridgeview Park District.
Police reporting an apparent full detonation of fireworks with people running from the site at 12:41 pm.
All people accounted for by 12:43 pm.
Police report brush fire just west of "Kid's Space City"
Fireworks supervisor meeting with fire command by about 12:45 pm.
Fireworks still detonating intermittently at about 12:45 p.m.
Cook County Bomb Squad requested to the scene for "a lot of unexploded ordnance" at the scene.
There was a reported brush and vehicle fire at the location of the official fireworks site for Bridgeview, Illinois.
Early there were unconfirmed reports of multiple injuries, but later it was reported that a fireworks contractor sustained a hand injury. He was transported to a local hospital.
EMA called to the scene.
