VIDEO: Car fire after crash ...
Crash with injuries and an auto on fire. Crash involved a Ferrari (according to witness) and another sedan. The Ferrari then hit a large traffic signal pole. The impact with the pole may have split the Ferrari in half. The front of the Ferrari was facing the wrong way on Columbus Drive. The rear of the Ferrari was on the sidewalk on the northeast corner of Columbus Drive and Balbo Avenue -- south of Buckingham Fountain.
The driver of the Ferrari was pulled from the car was placed down on the sidewalk about 50 feet north of his wrecked, and burning vehicle.
BC1 reports an auto is on fire at the crash at Balbo Ave and Columbus Dr at 3:11 p.m.
BC1 holds up the pin-in response at 3:12 p.m.
Second ambulance requestee by 3:16 p.m. -- A74 assigned.
A41 transported one patient to Northwestern Memorial Hospital.
City electric need for a light hanging off of a pole.
Crash also reported on Waze.
