Car fire inside Nissan service center garage on Dundee Road Arlington Heights.
E4 crew on arrival reports smoke showing from Side A and Side B.
E4's interior crew about 12:30 a.m. reported the fire involving a single car appeared to be extinguished, and that they were completely knocking it with a 2 1/2-inch line.
A sprinkler system activation contained the fire and mostly extinguished the fire.

Metra Train vs Car Crash
Shermer Rd and Meadow Rd Northbrook, IL
Report of an auto accident involving a train. Cook County Sheriff received an initial report that a Metra train was stopped after an auto accident with the train.
In fact, Amtrak Hiawatha Train #337 struck a pedestrian near Shermer Road and Meadow Road Thursday afternoon.
TL12 crew on arrival reported nothing seen at the train station.
BC11 reported the incident was at Meadow and Shermer, and that the train was stopped at the bridge by Cherry Ln north of the train station.
Police shut down Shermer Road at the tracks for scene management and investigation.
Shermer Road was re-opened by about 8:00 p.m.

E38 crew on arrival reports a 3-story ordinary with a fire.
E38 crew requests a Still and Box by 1:40 a.m. for a house fire with communication to the apartment buliding next door.

BC18 reports a 2-story frame, 25 x 65, and a 3-story ordinary brick both involved with fire, 4 lines are led out and trying to get more, ground ladders throughout, making a little progress by 1:49 a.m.
