Fatal extrication crash. Three people reported killed. At least one person was dead at the scene.

The crash involved a 2007 Chrysler and a 2012 Toyota.

Firefighters returned to the scene about 3:00 a.m. to extricate at least one victim's body that was involved in the crash.

WB I-88 traffic was diverted off I-88 at Naperville Road during rescue operations and an extended investigation. Initially some traffic was getting by on the shoulder.

Crash also reported on Waze.

Report of an injured construction worker on scaffolding near Wrigley Field at the northwest corner of Addison and Sheffield. Construction crews are building the base for the American Airlines 1914 Club behind home plate. A large excavation hole exists today where the section of seats would be behind home plate.

BC12 reports that a construction worker fell off some scaffolding and E55 crews are in the process of removing the construction worker at 12:00 noon.

BC12 reports the patient has been removed from the scaffolding and is being transferred to A3 at 12:16 p.m.
