Reported to be a kayak incident with a man underwater at about 6:30 p.m. A man and woman in their low 20s were in an overturned kayak. The helped the woman ashore, but then could not get to shore on his own power, and was submerged in 10 feet of water.
The man was discovered by 7:24 p.m. and CPR was underway on the boat as the man was brought ashore.
The man was pronounced dead. The release of his identity is pending the notification of his family.
