KEY FACTS: One child (age 3) injured, two other fire victims evaluated by paramedics, but not transported. One other person transported from the neighborhood, but was not a fire victim.

BC18 reports a 1 1/2-story occupied residential with heavy fire throughout and exposures.

Injured civilian on Side C in the alley at 12:47 p.m.

Two additional ambulances requested at 12:51 p.m. -- A63 and A45 committed on the scene with patients.

Primary fire building is 951 (corrected to 953) North Saint Louis Avenue.

Main to the roof and three lines on the fire.

Exposure building is 949 North Saint Louis Avenue.

Two lines on the fire -- one in the gangway and one in the exposure building structure.

Female, age 87, transported to Lutheran General Hospital and transferred to Loyola University Medical Center Burn Unit, where she died at 8:38 p.m. Friday.

Victim suffered first- to third-degree burns to 70 percent of her body.
