    Fire, paramedics and police responded to the DuSable Bridge about 4:30 p.m.  Antonio Peterson, 26, was pulled out of the water shortly before 5:00 p.m. after witnesses pointed to the location on the surface where he went underwater. Peterson was pronounced dead at Northwestern Memorial Hospital.

    Another man jumped into the river to try to save Antonio Peterson, but the citizen rescuer could not reach him and was pulled out of the water by personnel on a water taxi.
