    Report of a chemical smell and chemical release from a chemical reaction involving chlorine in a cleaning process.

    Crew on arrival reports a chlorine leak and requests a Level I Hazmat at 10:01 a.m.

    WIND SW 8 MPH

    Two patients transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital; later a total of six patients transported Code Yellow. There was one medical refusal.

    EMS Plan 1 requested on orders of A42 at 10:05 a.m.

    Traffic blocked in both directions for Lower Wacker Drive by 10:08 a.m. Upper Wacker Drive was also closed in the area.

    BC1 reports 5 gallons of chlorine and 5 gallons of acid were being mixed on the roof of the building.

    BC1 reports 55 gallon chlorine drum with an inhibitor which was washed out

    E107 bringing the oxygen bus 8-8-11.

    Building use is OK, according to Chicago Fire Department by 11:10 a.m.
