Report of a vehicle in a retention pond with two men trapped inside.
Police on scene first upright a submerged 2010 Nissan Maxima with two occupants trapped inside.
Aurora Fire Department Dive Team went to work cutting seat belts to free two male occupants.
Both occupants were possibly submerged for 10 minutes.
Male, age 47, and male, age 33, transported to area hospitals.
The older male was possibly giving driving lessons to the younger male.
Aurora Police urge any witnesses of the incident to call Aurora Police Traffic Investigators at 630-256-3330.

Problem is possibly caused by an unknown problem with a heater under some mulch in a room that contains venomous animal(s). The Wildlife Discovery Center is known to have a rattlesnake in captivity at the location.
No information available on whether any animals were injured.
Situation apparently resolved; companies starting to return by 2:44 am.

E73 crew on arrival reports a 2-story brick with fire from the second floor apartment -- going to deck gun it by 4:26 pm.
BC19 reports A 2-story ordinary, 25x125 with a fire on the second floor, deck gun, line led out, ladders to the roof, primary search underway by 4:28 pm.
Standby ambulance needed on Emerald to 81st.
BC19 requests third Engine (E122) come down to Emerald and 81st street to help fire victim also by 4:32 pm.
Fire out by 4:35 pm; companies washing down, primary and secondary searches on one and two are complete and negative.
One line on the second floor, two mains to the roof, one victim is refusing medical attention by 4:43 pm.

2-1-25 reports Peoples gas is on the scene. T27 is metering and evacuating Halsted. One block north and south on Emerald are also evacuated. All levels are zero except for 12726 on Emerald by 10:47 am. Also organizing CTA cooling bus for residents.
Leak is not under control; holding E-22 and the De-Con rig at 11:01 am.
Peoples gas on the scene trying to find valve, companies checking open manhole covers, zero readings in nearby buildings at 11:02 am.
2-1-25 requesting an additional engine and an additional truck.
CV275 reports Peoples Gas is still trying to locate the shutoff valve; zero readings in the manhole covers. Requesting the Rehab van.
Peoples gas located the shut off valve by 11:18 am. Holding the rehab van.
