Small fire on Walnut Avenue side of Christian Liberty Academy, 502 West Euclid Ave, Arlington Heights.
Activated Fire Alarm with smoke showing on arrival.
First crew out investigating by 8:57 AM.
BC1 reports smoke showing from the roof in a single-story section on the east side of the school building. BC1 upgrades the fire alarm response to a fire response by 9:03 a.m.
Crews hooking up to hydrants by 9:04 a.m.
Crews asking for a keyholder to help with access to areas of the building.
E2 crew reports heavy haze in the northeast corner of the building, can't find the seat of the fire by 9:07 a.m.
Requesting the skid by 9:11 a.m.
E4 crew reports they have a fire in Room 101 and upgrade to a working fire response.
Fire load appears to be papers and file boxes in Room C-101. TL1 crew making their way into the fire area by 9:13 a.m.
E4 crew reports the fire is extinguished with heavy smoke in the room -- believe the fire is out by 9:16 a.m.
Crews moving to ventilation phase by about 9:17 a.m. Crews opening windows and begin bringing fans from truck companies.
TL1 crew report no extension but they have a lot of smoke north of the fire room by 9:24 a.m. Ventilation continues.
