CPD Dispatch: According to our EMS the guy with the hand blown off ... a dog, the caller's dog showed up with the guy's hand.
The patient's hand was found about 250 feet away on Dakin Street -- cross street to Austin Avenue.
Male, age 39, transported Code Red to Level I Trauma Center Advocate Lutheran General Hospital.

Repot of a pin-in crash.
E80 crew on arrival reports no pin-in. The truck is on its side with a load dumped and blocking the eastbound and westbound lanes.
E80 holds the pin-in response and reports the driver is out of the semi by 1:26 pm.
The crash is not on the expressway or the ramp. The crash is on 130th St
Also given out as fuel spill at 1282 East 130th St.
One vehicle accident with one transport and lanes blocked eastbound and westbound.
BC22 requests a Level I Hazmat as a precaution because container with no placard on it and placards are scattered around the scene.

Report of a rollover semi-trailer truck. Truck possibly transporting steel bars.
E46 crew reports the Skyway is shut down from the Stony Island exit by 12:33 am.
E46 crew reports by 12:35 am that an 18-wheeler is completely upside down with most saddle tanks completely full. The saddle tanks were just filled in Indiana.
Truck tractor is Alain Giroux transport.
BC23 requests a Level II Hazmat by 12:50 am for a confirmed diesel fuel spill with an overturned tanker truck.
BC23 requests Heavy Duty Wrecker by 12:57 am.
BC23 requesting confirmation on getting a heavy duty tow truck by 1:03 am.
BC23 reports the trailer is still attached to the cab by 1:03 am.
Towing is handled through the Skyway Authority, not Streets and Sanitation.
CV275 on the scene just north of the incident and just ahead of E72 and SQD5 by 1:05 am.
CV275 reports by 1:13 am that there is one injured victim Code Green from the truck crash.
