Report of a fire in a apartment/commercial building that has recently been used by CFD for training. The building was formerly the "16th Street Church of God in Christ" between Kolin Ave and Kildare Ave.

E38 crew on arrival reports a 3-story ordinary with a fire.

E38 crew leading out a line, aerial is starting to go to the roof by 9:30 a.m.

224 requests an emergency alert for the building -- it has a spongy roof and holes in the floor.

Defensive operation by 9:37 a.m.

Third engine requested to drop a line in the rear for a total of two lines in the rear.

TL14 assigned to Side A at 9:39 a.m.

All companies evacuated, PAR check good. Building is fully involved.
