Report of an apartment house fire. Fire in a 2 1/2-story brick building.

Crew on arrival reports they're eastbound with a fire.

E34 assigned to back down from Tripp.

E109 assigned to parking lot just west of Keeler on 26th St.

BC14 reports aerial to the roof, 4 lines on the fire, 2-1/2-story ordinary brick apartment house, 25x40, positive source of water, a little exposure problem, all companies are working by 4:44 p.m.

4 lines on the fire, going defensive by 5:04 p.m.

First engine (E107) on the 2-11 come in from the west and back down 26th St and feed TL5.

CV271 reports one building involved with difficulty in finding the fire in the cockloft by 5:19 p.m.

Primary search complete and negative on the first floor, and secondary search underway only on the first floor.
