Fatal truck crash. UPS Semi-trailer truck heading southbound hit the 47th Street bridge. Semi-trailer truck driver killed.

Truck breached median and ended up in the southbound lanes.

Accident investigation ongoing by Illinois State Police.

Southbound I-294 backed up to US 34 at 5:30 am.

Northbound I-294 backed up to I-55 at 5:30 pm.
