Report of a patio deck on fire. Second recent fire of this type in this complex.

E84 crew on arrival reports a second floor deck fire with extension to the attic; out with a pre-connect by 6:08 am.

E82 feeding E84.

E81 crew reports they have knocked the fire inside, and are checking for extension.

Primary search complete by 6:18 am.

TL85 crew reports primary search on second floor clear by 6:19 am; pulling ceiling.

No more visible fire by 7:38 am; checking for extension.

Crew reports there is still some fire in the attic by 6:23 am.

Primary all clear first and second floor by 6:24 am.

E36 assigned to bring a third line to the second floor by 6:30 am, then E84 reports they're OK with a primary attack line and a backup. E36 re-assigned to assist E84.

Roof getting soft, conditions worsening, firefighters getting off roof at 6:33 am.

Smoke still coming from the roof line at 6:34 am.

Secondary search all clear by 6:36 am.

E84 assigned salvage on first floor by 6:43 am.

Checking air conditions for carbon monoxide, cyanide, etc by 6:52 am.

Ventilation by 6:53 am.

SCBA all clear on first floor by 7:05 am. (HCN zero and CO 3 ppm).
